King of Prussia PA – Lane restrictions are scheduled on several state highways in Chester and Philadelphia counties for bridge inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Work on these inspections will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, special signage and relevant training.

The work schedule is:

Chester County

• Monday, June 8, and Wednesday, June 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled in both directions on Route 100 between the U.S. 30 and U.S. 202 interchanges in West Goshen and West Whiteland townships; • Tuesday, June 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 202 between the U.S. 322 and Paoli Pike interchanges in West Goshen Township; and • Thursday, June 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled in both directions on Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) between Route 113 (West Uwchlan Avenue) and U.S. 30 (Coatesville/Downingtown Bypass) interchanges in Downingtown, East Caln, Valley, Parkesburg townships and City of Coatesville.

Philadelphia

• Monday, June 1, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, a right lane closure is scheduled on the northbound I-95 off ramp to westbound I-76; • Monday, June 1, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, a left lane closure is scheduled on southbound I-95 between the Philadelphia Airport/Route 291 and Route 420 interchanges; • Monday, June 1, from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM, left lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the I-76 West and Broad Street interchanges; • Monday, June 1, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on the Island Avenue on-ramp to southbound I-95; • Tuesday, June 2, from 9:00 AM to :300 PM, a left lane closure is scheduled on Route 291 (Industrial Highway) between Airport Economy Parking Lot and Ride Share Lot entrances; • Wednesday, June 3, through Friday, June 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, right lane closures are scheduled on northbound I-95 between Island Avenue and Broad Street interchanges; • Wednesday, June 3, and Saturday, June 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on 33rd Street between West Oxford Street and Girard Avenue; and • Saturday, June 6, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a left lane closure is scheduled on northbound I-95 between Island Avenue and Broad Street interchanges.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
