Nonprofit Lincoln Announces New Board Members

OAKLAND, CA, UNITED STATES, September 26, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Lincoln, a nonprofit dedicated to disrupting cycles of poverty, trauma, and inequity for children and families in the Bay Area, is pleased to announce that retired Wells Fargo SVP, David de Figueiredo, was elected Chair of its Board of Directors.

David joined Lincoln’s board in 2011 and has since on several board positions, including the Executive and Resource Development committees. “Investing my time and philanthropic dollars in Lincoln is the most important thing I do to effect change and disrupt the cycle of poverty in our communities,” said David. He also serves as Vice-Chair of Lambda Legal’s National Leadership Council, a nonprofit that advocates for the civil rights of LGBT people and those living with HIV.
