Luanda, ANGOLA, September 18 - The strategic cooperation agreement between Angola and Portugal to be signed in the coming days will be a sign of trust and deepening of the economic relation between the two countries, said the Portuguese Prime Minister, António Costa.,

To the Portuguese PM, Angola is currently living an auspicious stage of great ambition to diversify its economic base, useful aspect for the Portuguese companies and African country.

 

According to the Portuguese official, the new agreement, to put an end to the double taxation, the new air transport deal and increase of the credit line will be important steps to bolster cooperation towards the construction of a better future for the two countries.  

 

As regards to the debt the Angolan government has with Portuguese companies, the PM said there is a work being conducted for the resolution of this issues, with positive signals and commitment of both sides.

 

He also said that he believes that between Angola and Portugal there will always continue to have good business, trust and stability, which are helpful aspects for the economic development of the two countries.
