Belgian Foreign Affairs minister arrives in Luanda

Luanda, ANGOLA, September 11 - The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium, Didier Reynders, arrived Monday night in Luanda, for a 24-hour working visit to strengthen the existing cooperation relations between the two countries.,

Didier Reynders, who leads a delegation integrated by top officials of the Belgian diplomacy, was received at Luanda’s 04 de Fevereiro International Airport by the Angolan Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs,Téte António, among other personalities.

 

ANGOP learnt that the agenda of the Belgian official includes a meeting with the Angolan Foreign Affairs minister, Manuel Augusto, with whom he will discuss the state of the cooperation between the two countries.

 

The head of the Belgian diplomacy is also due to be received in an audience by the Angolan President, João Lourenço.

 

The Republic of Angola and Kingdom of Belgium share cooperation ties in varied sectors and the basis for this partnership, which started in 1976, is the Economic, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation Agreement signed in April 26 of 1983.
