REDMOND, WASHINGTON, UNITED STATES, June 12, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- 3DOptix has selected Flash Photonics as their exclusive distributor for the United States. 3DOptix’s innovative optical components and mounting platforms enable advanced optomechanical functions and significantly simplifies alignment work. Design references enable users to use 3DOptix components to easily build mechanisms like Delay-Line Extenders and Multiple Pulses Apparatuses. This modular system enables fast and robust implementation of optical experiments, especially in complex and crowded optical table environments. The 3DOptix framework – the BreadBox™ – consists of several optomechanical building blocks that enable the extension of the traditional 2D optical table grid to a 3D grid. The BreadBox™ provides accurate mounting locations for standard optical elements in 3D and can significantly reduce the optical table footprint needed for an experiment and the time spent on alignment.

“The 3DOptix system is incredibly modular. You can use their design references to combine components into a number of complex machines like a Mach-Zehnder Interferometer or a Broadband Pump Probe,” said Flash Photonics' President Dr. Stephen Smith. “3DOptix’s optical mounting platform snaps individual optical elements perfectly into place like Lego bricks. The modular design will save an enormous amount of time and reduce stress for students and researchers.”

“Our goal was to create an advanced optomechanical system that could provide a countless combination of optomechanical functions as well as speed up the alignment work for experimentation. Researchers should be focusing on experiments, not on alignment,” said 3DOptix CEO Gil Noy. “We are excited to have Flash Photonics be our partner for the United States market. Flash Photonics’ leaders have decades of first-hand experience working with optical systems and so we are confident they have the knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to connect our product with the right customers in the United States.”
