Nurses, corporations, Americans band together in fundraising, donations, and rescue efforts

LEHI, UTAH, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- As America’s southern coast endures one of the most devastating storms in its history, trained professionals, courageous volunteers, and concerned citizens across the nation are doing anything they can to help. Allie Pillow of Nashville, mother of two and registered nurse, is one of hundreds of medical personnel volunteering their skills to tend to survivors of Hurricane Harvey in the most inaccessible parts of Texas. They are air-lifted in with military Black Hawks, and most volunteers prepare to stay for at least two weeks, working 18-hour days.

Allie, who is also a Younique Presenter, has kept her team of independent beauty consultants informed via Facebook Live. Though some videos are harder to watch than others, she continues to work hard toward her own goals of changing women’s lives through her makeup business, appropriately calling herself the Confidence Consultant.
