BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Court documents say a Montana man accused of transporting women across state lines to have sex with customers at two businesses has reached a plea agreement with federal prosecutors.
KULR-TV reports that the documents indicate Scot Donald Petrie will plead guilty to a charge of transportation a person with intent to engage in sexual activity. A prison sentence of up to 10 years is possible, along with fines and post-prison supervision.
Prosecutors filed charges against Petrie in April, alleging that two Billings spa businesses were fronts for prostitution and human trafficking.
A hearing to change Petrie’s plea is scheduled for Wednesday.
