MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho - A little girl was found alone and abandoned Tuesday morning at a gas station in Mountain Home, Idaho, triggering a police investigation and a call for help from the public.
The girl, estimated to be about 4 or 5 years old, was unable to tell detectives where her home is located, what school she attends or how she wound up at the Maverik gas station on 10th Street in Mountain Home.
Hours later, her parents were found, police confirmed.
Officers say the little girl apparently followed her brother to school. Charges are not likely to be filed, police said.
