Fifth rink will open in Ames next week
Indianola residents have an option to lace up the skates and grab some free ice time. The Iowa Wild, along with Wells Fargo, donated their fourth community rink, this one at the Pickard Sports Complex.In the past three years, the team has opened rinks in Ankeny, Waukee, and West Des Moines. Another one opens next Wednesday in Ames.The rinks are free to use. You must bring your own gear and check the city website for times.
