PG man arrested for biting finger in Petaluma nightclub
A Pacific Grove man is being held in the Sonoma County Jail after Police say he started a bar fight Saturday night and nearly bit off someone's finger.
32-year-old Daniel Yurkovich was arrested on suspicion of mayhem after witnesses at McNeer’s Saloon in Petaluma say he randomly attacked a man, punching him repeatedly.
Other patrons then attempted to physically restrain Yurkovich, who was on top of and punching the victim.
Yurkovich then turned his attention to one of the good samaritans attempting to restrain him, and attacked him, biting his finger in the process. Surveillance video captured the incident.
The victim was transported to a hospital, where efforts were being made to save his finger.
Officers say Yurkovich appeared intoxicated.
Yurkovich is being held on 100-thousand dollars bail on suspicion on mayhem.
