    NEW DELHI: Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange were trading 21.50 points, or 0.19 per cent, lower at 11,199.50, indicating a negative start for the Nifty50. Here's a look at the top stocks that may hog the limelight in today's session:

    DHFL: The HFC said Care Ratings has reaffirmed credit rating has reaffirmed credit ratings on its various instruments, including NCDs and long-term bank facilities. The company has proposed to reduce exposure to commercial paper (CP) as part of overall borrowing plan and increase hedging activity.

    Usha Martin, Tata Steel: Specialty steel and wire ropes maker Usha Martin's decision to sell one of its core businesses — steelmaking — to prune outstanding debt, marks the rare instance of an Indian corporate borrower meeting its loan obligations through divestment. The company has entered into a definitive agreement with Tata Steel for Rs 4,300-4,700 crore consideration.

    Inox Leisure: India’s second-largest multiplex chain has terminated a contract with BookMyShow, the country’s biggest online ticketing platform, after a payments disagreement.

    IL&FS Transportation: Considering the strategic priority of monetisation of the company's project assets and generating liquidity, the board of directors at its meeting held today re-designated Dilip Bhatia, as Chief Strategy Officer responsible for divestment of assets and other strategic initiatives on a dedicated basis.

    Biocon: The drug substance facility in Bangalore has completed USFDA inspection with no observations

    Federal Bank: Early-stage venture capital fund Unicorn India Ventures has brought on board Federal Bank as the anchor investor (limited partner) for its maiden venture debt fund.

    Cipla: The pharma major has received final approval for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Albendazole Tablets 200mg from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA).

    RCom, Bharti Airtel, Idea: The telecom department has moved the Supreme Court for approval to secure dues worth almost Rs 33,000 crore from all operators toward licence fees and spectrum usage charges, saying existing bank guarantees aren’t enough to cover the “huge public money” at stake.

    V-Mart: Lifestyle products retailer V-Mart Retail, which primarily operates in smaller towns, is evaluating a omnichannel (offline and online retail) strategy to expand business and reach its customers. The company is also looking at investing Rs 100 crore next fiscal to open new stores and setting up a new warehouse.

    Monsanto India: It will take at least one year to complete the integration of Monsanto India into the Bayer Group, a senior official of German pharma and chemical major has said.

    Siemens: German engineering group Siemens is working on a deal worth up to €9 billion ($10.6 billion) to supply energy generation technology to Iraq, business daily Handelsblatt reported, citing government and industry sources.

    Blue Dart: Domestic logistics major Blue Dart, a part of the Deutsche Post DHL group, is targeting to invest Rs 200 crore for expanding reach and upgrading technology.

    Infosys, TCS: The Reserve Bank has shortlisted five IT firms including Infosys and TCS for implementation of a centralised information and management system (CIMS) for seamless data collection and validations.

    Aarti Industries: The speciality chemicals and pharmaceuticals company plans to invest Rs 700-800 crore in FY19 to improve its scale and drive sustained improvement in the business

    M&M: Utility vehicles major Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) plans to drive in multiple versions of its entry-level models KUV100 and TUV300, catering to different sets of customers, a senior company official said.

    Solar Industries: ICICI Securities has upgraded Solar Industries to buy from hold and revised target price to Rs 1,240 from Rs 1,210. A strengthened global mining environment is clearly acting as a tailwind for overseas business as global mining capex continues to improve, it said.
