The new appointees join Wolf Theiss from international law firm Squire Patton Boggs to strengthen the Corporate/M&A and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Departments of the company, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal

The release goes on to say the newcomers are widely recognized as leading corporate/M&A and litigation lawyers, with experience in advising clients on a range of both domestic and cross-border matters.

Ákos Erős is a partner, specialized in M&A and private equity, MBOs, and other corporate matters. As managing partner of Squire Patton Boggs in Budapest he also advised on important capital market transactions in Hungary.

Judit Nádor is a senior associate, who focuses on corporate and employment law. She has experience in M&A transactions and general corporate law and has participated in numerous privatizations and company acquisition procedures.

Artúr Tamási is a senior associate, who represents clients in Hungarian commercial litigation, Hungarian and international commercial arbitration, enforcement proceedings, administrative proceedings and litigation as well as in matters involving public law and criminal law.

Ágnes Budai is an associate, who will strengthen Wolf Theissʼ Corporate/M&A team. She focuses on corporate matters including M&A, international business, telecommunication, competition and trademarks.

"It’s a great pleasure for us to join a leading law firm in the CEE/SEE region and to be part of Wolf Theissʼ eminent team," Erős says. "Working together, we can continue to serve our clients on the highest level and further expand our services and workforce not only in Hungary but also in the region."

"We are looking forward to the new opportunities that the expansion will bring us," managing partner of Wolf Theiss Budapest office Zoltán Faludi says. "We are happy to add the talents of Ákos, Judit, Ágnes and Artúr to our team in Hungary. They will be a great addition to our highly regarded corporate and dispute resolution practice and their market knowledge will be a great asset for our clients."
