WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Six nurse practitioners are expecting new babies this year at the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Katie Carlton, Emily Johnson, Nikki Huth, Sabrina Hudson, Nina Day and Bethany Stringer are becoming known as “The Fabulous Six Pack” among their patients.

According to WXII, while some of them were planning to get pregnant, it was a big surprise when it happened all around the same time.

“Each time that we found out somebody else was pregnant, it was like, well who is next?” Nina Day, an ambulatory nurse, said.

Plans are in place to help ensure patient care is never compromised and continues smoothly when these women are out on maternity leave.
