“Sea Hear Now is a longtime dream of ours. To have our musician, surfer and artist friends come to Asbury Park this September to play some music, ride some waves and make some art,” festival curator Danny Clinch said previously in a statement. “We come from the Jersey Shore and we believe in Asbury Park. It is one of the coolest beach cities in America, if not the world. We are ready to go!”

The fest is being produced by Clinch’s Between The Sets and C3 Presents, the team behind Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Shaky Festivals and more.

Clinch is the Toms River native who has photographed the greats of music, from Bruce Springsteen to Tupac Shakur. He curates the scene at the Transparent Gallery, inside the Asbury Hotel, where his work is shown and local and national acts play.

The Bamboozle festival, which starred Bon Jovi, the Foo Fighters, Skrillex and Incubus, took place on the North Beach in 2012 and the Indian Summer festival, on the Anchor’s Bend/Jams on the Sand stage north of Convention Hall, has been bringing national acts onto the beach since 2014.

This year’s Indian Summer is scheduled for Sept. 15 and 16.

Two-day tickets for Sea Hear Now are $99, with a $29 layaway option up front. No individual day tickets will be sold. Tickets are on sale via www.seahearnowfestival.com.
