FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department are asking for your help identifying the person of interest captured in the surveillance photograph above.

Detectives believe the man in the photo was the driver of the getaway vehicle involved in a recent armed robbery of the Subway (Get2Go) located at 4935 Bluffton Road.

On June 11, a black man, wearing a blue hoodie and black pants armed with a gun, pointed the pistol at a Subway employee and said, “This is a hold up, give me all the money.” The suspect then tried to take cash from the register, but was unsuccessful so he took the change out of the register, according to a police report. The suspect then got into a silver Dodge van, missing a front hub cap, allegedly with the man captured in the surveillance photo.

Employees first saw the two men hanging out at the gas pumps begging people for money.

Anyone that knows the identity of this person is asked to call the Detective Bureau at 427-1201 or Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP (436-7867).
