Letter: ‘Hell’ raises Christensen’s ire but he’s mum on abhorrences by Mormon pols

So Rep. LaVar Christensen is offended by Sen. Jim Dabakis’ use of the word “hell” in his testimony during a debate on free-speech rights and civil liberties on campus. Oh, the horror. I note that Rep. Christensen has been silent on the resignation from the White House of his fellow Mormon, Rob Porter, for domestic violence against two ex-wives. He has been equally silent on the resignation of his fellow legislator, Jon Stanard, also Mormon and a defender of traditional family values and stricter laws against prostitution, “for personal and family reasons” — that is, having sex with a prostitute in a Salt Lake City Marriott hotel while actively supporting anti-pornography legislation on the Floor. At least there was no alcohol in the room.

I don’t get it, never have. What hypocrisy.
