Road conditions causing crashes in eastern Idaho
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — Multiple agencies are reporting minor crashes throughout eastern Idaho Saturday night due to poor road conditions.
The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office reports the most significant crash was a vehicle that rolled on the Lewisville Highway near 129th North.
The vehicle took out a power pole and brought lines down across the road, however, no one was injured, according to Bonneville County Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Bryan Lovell.
About 55 Rocky Mountain Power customers are without power in the area as a result of the accident, according to Rocky Mountain Power officials. Power is expected to be restored shortly after 6:30 p.m.
The winter weather advisory has been lifted in the northern part of eastern Idaho, but it’s still snowing in the Pocatello, Henry, Soda Springs and Montpelier areas, according to the National Weather Service.
None of the crashes in the area have been significant enough to close roads.
