Jason Jordan’s Push Rumored to Be Ending
– Jason Jordan’s push may be coming to a close. A new rumor claims that Jordan’s storyline focus may be curtailed based on Survivor Series, according to Cageside Seats.
The site notes that the speculation comes after Jordan was pulled from the Survivor Series main event match last week on Raw and replaced with Triple H. That move was seen at the time as having been done so that Raw would have a last-minute change on the level of John Cena joining Team Smackdown, and obviously Triple H’s involvement factored into the finish in a big way. Jordan’s going from a participant in the big main event match of WWE’s largest fall PPV to not being on the card, however, is leading to a belief that WWE may be pulling back.
It is important to note that this is more speculation than confirmed news at this point. There were reports that Jordan could have turned heel in the main event and cost Angle the match as part of a build to a Triple H/Angle bout at WrestleMania, and that could still happen in different ways. As always when the word “rumored” is in the headline, take this with a grain of salt.
