HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Authorities are trying to figure out what caused a power issue at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport on Wednesday morning.

According to the state Department of Transportation, power was “unstable” in Terminals 1 and 2 and lights were flicking intermittently.

Operations have since returned to normal.

The DOT said no flights were impacted. Hawaiian Electric, meanwhile, said the issue was not linked to any problems with HECO equipment.

This story will be updated.
