ORLANDO – Former University of Florida quarterback Chris Leak is not contesting allegations that he asked an 15-year-old girl to touch his genitals.
Leak, who resigned as Edgewater High School football coach and teacher after the allegations were reported last month, voluntarily surrendered his Florida teaching certificate, according to an order filed by the Florida Education Practices Commission on Tuesday.

The alleged incident reportedly occurred Sept. 5 in the athletic trainer office near the football field, according to the Palm Beach Post. The investigative report said Leak came out from the shower wearing only a towel and asked the girl to give him a massage.
The girl told detectives that as she massaged his legs Leak then pulled her hands up to touch his genitals.
Police said the girl was "very upset" while describing the incident.
Leak, 31, was initially charged with sexual assault, but that case was dropped when the victim's guardian said she did not want to press charges.
Before he was hired to coach at Edgewater, Leak worked in football development and youth outreach for the Tampa Bay Bucs. Before that, he was an assistant for the Florida Gators under former coach Will Muschamp.
In college, Leak played under Ron Zook and Urban Meyer, leading UF to the 2007 BCS National Championship Game.
Leak was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2007 but did not make the regular-season roster. He then played in the Canadian Football League and in the Arena Football League for the Orlando Predators and Jacksonville Sharks.
