SANA'A May 04. 2024 (Saba) - The Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control began implementing the third phase of the program to qualify a food establishment inspection specialist.

Over a period of five days, the program aims to provide 19 trainees from Taiz, Ibb and Dhamar provinces with information and skills to enhance their capacity building in the field of health requirements in food establishments and their workers.

While the trainer, Engineer Marwan Al-Khursani, indicated that the training program includes theoretical lectures and practical applications on food safety, potential risks in food, inspection objectives, and inspector conditions and other lectures.

The opening was attended by the directors of the branch of the Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control in Taiz province, Engineer Riyad Al-Bukhaiti, the Ibb province Branch, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Ashwal, and Al-Rahda Center, Engineer Muhammad Tayyab Al-Jami.
