Ott, Cushman combine for no-hitter as Hanover Park baseball takes fourth straight

Nando Ott and Evan Cushman combined to pitch a five-inning no-hitter as Hanover Park shut out Elmwood, 10-0, in East Hanover, for its fourth straight win.

Ott struck out two and didn’t issue a walk in the first inning. Cushman went the last four and racked up five strikeouts. He walked one batter.

Alex Cheringal and Jack Kovacs had two hits each for Hanover Park (8-3). Ryan Mendez drove in three runs.

It was the eighth straight loss for Elmwood Park, now 1-10.
