Mace Says He Loves The Sense of Community in Soft Ground Wrestling in Uganda
As previously reported, Mace & Mansoor made their debut for Uganda’s Soft Ground Wrestling last week, helping their local wrestlers against the evil Lord White. In an interview with Fightful), Mace spoke about the experience and said that he enjoyed the sense of community that the viral promotion has.
He said: “I think it was just the sense of community that they have there. For kids that don’t have parents, for kids that don’t have families, they really are, and I think Mansoor said as much, this Soft Ground Wrestling is their family. You could tell. Watching them interact with each other. They’re like brothers, like 100 brothers and sisters. You could see like, the older brothers were picking on younger [ones]. There were like some older sister types that were like giggling in the corner. It’s just like a whole community and they have so much fun doing it. It reads through.“
