EDDYVILLE, KY -- Lyon County senior Travis Perry confirmed what many had believed all along, that he would continue his commitment and play for Kentucky next season.

Perry posting on X Monday night reaffirming his commitment to the Wildcats and new head coach Mark Pope.

In that post, Perry posted a picture of himself with Pope, saying, "100% a Wildcat. Can’t wait to wear the blue and white. Go Cats!"

This years Kentucky Mr. Basketball and state's all-time leading scorer first committed to the Wildcats back in November under John Calipari.

Perry was singled out by Pope during his introduction two weeks ago, and said that he planned to meet with Pope over the course of the next several days. 

Perry will wrap up his high school career by playing in the Kentucky-Indiana All-Star game on June 7-8th.
