LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was shot in the Bashford Manor neighborhood Monday evening.

Officers with LMPD's Sixth Division responded to a report of a shooting about 9:35 p.m. in the 3400 block Newburg Road, LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said in a statement.

Upon arrival, officers found a man who had been shot, and they rendered first aid before EMS arrived. EMS transported the victim to University Hospital. Ellis said his injuries are non-life-threatening. 

LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating, but currently have no suspects. Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call LMPD's anonymous crime tip line at 502-574-LMPD (5673) or on the online crime tip portal by clicking here.
