Watches and Wonders, hosted in Geneva, Switzerland, is always one of the year's biggest highlights for our editors—and this year's novelties proved to intrigue once again. The new introductions ran the gamut this year, from sporty to more relaxed to diamond-studded. There truly was something for every collector at this year's luxury show. Below, a small smattering of some of our favorite timepiece releases from Switzerland's finest watchmakers. You'll see more popping up here, as well as in our print issue of VERANDA (wink, wink!).

The new World Time, originally launched as a limited edition in Tokyo in June 2023, has now entered the brand's permanent collection. This timepiece boasts a patented date display synchronized with local time. To achieve this, the watch was fitted with a new movement, the caliber 240 HU C. The opaline dial features a carbon motif, and the hand-stitched, calfskin strap has a denim finish for a more casual look.

We're very partial to Vacheron Constantin's new timepiece, featuring a silver dial paired with an olive green strap. Crafted from 18-karat white gold, the case houses a retrograde date display and a moon phase indicator, adorned with two polished gold moons against a starry sky. The design is inspired by an archival timepiece from the 1950s.

The Lady Jour Nuit, a part of Van Cleef & Arpels's newest Poetic Complications collection, shows the sun and moon following each other through a midnight sky made from aventurine glass. During the day, a guilloché yellow gold sun lives on the dial, while at night, a diamond-encrusted moon illuminates the night sky.

The Hermès Cut is the newest debut for the brand in the timepiece space. It features a distinct case that is rounded, with angular sides that pay homage to the brand's love for geometry. An opaline silver-toned dial along with a satin-finished steel case and bracelet—which is easily interchangeable for a rubber strap in eight colors—lend easy style to this sporty yet chic watch.
