April 22 (SeeNews) - London-based global energy and marine engineering consultancy ABL said it has entered Romania by opening an office in the coastal city of Constanta, in order to support the offshore energy and maritime markets in the Black Sea region.
The first ABL Romania office will offer the company’s full catalogue of technical services, such as offshore technical due diligence, rig inspections and rig moving, and marine inspections and surveys, renewable energy consultancy, maritime services including ports consulting, and energy transition engineering, including expertise in carbon capture technology, ABL said in a press release last week.

"ABL has been present in the Black Sea region since 2003, starting with an office in Bulgaria, then expanding to Turkey. An office in Romania is the next logical step. It will support the country’s oil and gas and maritime markets, plus its growing plans for renewable energy and transitionary technologies," the company noted.
The office in Constanta will be managed by Alexander Shterev and Lyubomir Djambazov, principal surveyor and country manager, respectively, at ABL Bulgaria.
ABL is a subsidiary of global independent consultancy ABL Group, which specializes in delivering energy, marine, engineering and digital solutions to improve safety and sustainability in the renewables, maritime, and oil and gas markets. ABL Group operates in more than 300 locations worldwide.
