A MULTITUDE of University of Zambia and Evelyn Hone College students protested outside the Supreme Court grounds yesterday as former president Edgar Lungu appeared before the Constitutional Court for the eligibility case. Some students, wearing black t-shirts with the words “no third term iwe ka faza of corruption” later started shouting “who are you?” directed at Lungu. This prompted some PF cadres, among them Peter Kashala, to leave the Supreme Court premises and confront the students where they were. The two sides engaged in a physical altercation, during which Kashala allegedly assaulted a female and two male students, resulting in police officers picking him up. Eventually, the police moved in to control the students and fired some tear gas canisters....
