There were no additional injury concerns for Jurgen Klopp as his Liverpool players were put through their paces at open training ahead of Thursday's Europa League tie at Atalanta.

The Reds players warmed up in front of the media at the club's AXA Training Centre on Wednesday afternoon with Klopp now in possession with what is as close to a clean bill of health for his squad as he has had virtually all season.

Having seen Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota, Alisson Becker and Stefan Bajcetic all return to full training last week to ease the fitness problems considerably, Klopp's team were able to get their workout ahead of the quarter-final second leg in Italy without any further worries.

Liverpool have been forced to manage without a host of key men for most of the last few months but Klopp is now without just four of his first team, with long-term absentee Joel Matip sidelined next to Thiago Alcatanra and Ben Doak, while Conor Bradley joined them in the treatment room having hurt his ankle in Sunday's 1-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace. The Northern Ireland international is expected to be out for the rest of April.

It means Liverpool will fly to Bergamo with most of their big hitters on the plane as they look to reverse a 3-0 deficit from the first leg at Anfield last week for a place in the last four of Europe's secondary competition.

The Reds will need to score three times at the Gewiss Stadium just to force extra time but Klopp was at least able to see his five-man frontline all train on Wednesday ahead of the attempt of a rescue act in Italy.

Jota, who is yet to start a game after his return from a two-month lay-off last week, was involved alongside Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz, while Mohamed Salah also took part. That quintet have 82 goals between them this term meaning Klopp at least has plenty of firepower to select from for a game where goals are desperately needed.

Bacjetic has endured an injury nightmare over the last 13 months and has been restricted to just two senior appearances since a 1-0 loss to Bournemouth in the Premier League in March of last year. The Spanish teenager was a substitute in last week's 3-0 win at Manchester United for the Under-21s but is available for the match with the Serie A outfit having trained at the AXA Centre.

Alexander-Arnold is also contention to start his first game since the early February win over Burnley with Bradley sidelined and the Academy trio of Jayden Danns, Bobby Clark and James McConnell also took part.

Meanwhile, Alisson was able to train as normal after showing no ill effects from his first start in well over two months against Palace on Sunday. The Brazil international is vying with Caoimhin Kelleher for a place in goal.
