Advait Collaborates with TECO 2030 to Manufacture Fuel Cells in India

­­­­Advait Infratech Limited (AIL), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TECO 2030, a Norwegian-based company, to collaborate on the production of fuel cells in India. AIL and TECO 2030 intend to establish a joint venture (JV), with AIL holding the majority stake.

The JV will focus on the development, manufacturing, and promotion of TECO 2030 fuel cell technology within the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) member nations, which include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

As reported by RenewableWatch, Advait Infratech specializes in providing comprehensive solutions for power transmission, substation, and telecommunication infrastructure and has recently expanded its operations into the renewable energy sector.

Recently, Advait Infratech secured a contract through an auction conducted by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to establish 100 MW of electrolyser manufacturing capacity across India. The incentive allocation for this project totalled ₹1.48 billion. The capacity was tendered under SECI’s Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition program, which aims to establish 1.5 GW of manufacturing capacities.
