Man sentenced to 13 years for trafficking drugs to NB

NEW BRITAIN — Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, said 49-year-old Victor Rodriguez-Gomez, also known as “Calami,” of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., was sentenced Thursday by U.S. District Judge Michael P. Shea in Hartford to 156 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for trafficking large amounts of fentanyl and cocaine to New Britain.
