Myer has threatened to leave its Adelaide CBD site after lodging legal action against the Singaporean owner of the Rundle Mall property, accusing its landlord of failing to maintain nearby stores in a suitable state.

The company’s department store occupies more than half of the five-storey Myer Centre, the largest shopping complex in the heart of Adelaide, owned by Singapore-listed Starhill Global Real Estate Investment Trust.
