Police investigate Melbourne CBD death

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating following the death of a man in the Melbourne CBD last Saturday.

Emergency services were called to a report of an unresponsive man in a Flinders Street apartment shortly after 10.30am on 11 March.

He was treated at the scene but passed away.

The 22-year-old Kings Park man had been located in the property by a cleaner after it had been used as a short-term rental.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined, however following a post mortem examination the death is being treated as suspicious.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have any information about the man’s death or the circumstances surrounding it.
