The military book of soldier, who went missing as a result of the battles last September, was found in the remains of the fallen serviceman which Azerbaijan returned to the Armenian side on January 27. Vahe's father, Aram Torosyan, told Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.

Aram Torosyan said he was told that the conclusion to the identification process of this remains will be known in a day or two.

"The body is unrecognizable. He had a phone and his military book. But, at any rate, we are waiting for the conclusions of the DNA test," he said.

The aforesaid body was retrieved in the direction of Nerkin Hand village of Armenia’s Syunik Province On September 15, Vahe Torosyan had contacted a friend while wounded and explained that he was in Nerkin Hand.

After the September 2022 battles, three Armenian servicemen were considered missing, but now two are still missing.

As a result of the Azerbaijani attack on September 13-14 of the year past, the number of casualties from the Armenian side is 224.
