Green ICT for Net Zero in 2030

A UAM experience simulator set up at SK Telecom booth

SK Telecom announced on Jan. 5 that it will introduce green ICT to achieve net zero at CES 2023.

SK Telecom will jointly operate an exhibition booth of about 1,200 square meters in the Central Hall with other SK Group affiliates. It will showcase urban air mobility (UAM), AI semiconductor Sapeon and a virtual power plant for renewable energy under the theme of “Together in Action” for reaching net zero in 2030.

SK Telecom will set up a full-size UAM experience simulator in its exhibition booth to introduce the Sapeon semiconductor, which helps to operate a UAM aircraft, and a virtual power plant that supplies power to the aircraft and a vertiport.

“As a leading ICT player, SK Telecom will showcase green ICT to achieve net zero,” an SK Telecom official said.
