Breath of the Wild is the latest installment in the famous Nintendo series, Legends of Zelda. The Japanese giants have sold over 27.79 million copies of the 2017 action-adventure game. The game also bagged several Game of the Year awards and is counted among the greatest video games of all time.

Recently, Howard attended the podcast show of Lex Fridman, where the Bethesda mastermind talked about many things related to video games. But the interviewer then questioned Todd to share his thoughts about Breath of the Wild, which many believe to be the best open-world video game.

He further continued, “It’s my favorite Zelda because obviously like open World stuff. The one thing that they do really well is they don’t constrain you. Some people, even some things we do constrain you a little bit more. Zelda says here’s the whole thing and you are constrained by the actual player abilities you haven’t earned yet, not some arbitrary barriers and so I think they just did a phenomenal job. It’s a magical game.”

When is Tear of the Kingdom releasing?

Nintendo is working on a sequel to Breath of the Wild. The Japanese giants released a teaser this year in one of the Nintendo Direct for the sequel. The upcoming Legend of Zelda game has been titled Tear of the Kingdom.

Fans are eagerly waiting for the title to hit the shelves. And they only have to wait a couple more months now as Nintendo has scheduled the game to release on May 12, 2023.
