UPDATE: Metro has arrested and booked 60-year-old Brian McLemore for open murder in connection to this stabbing. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the stabbing death of a man who was dropped off at a North Las Vegas hospital early Saturday.

North Las Vegas police responded to North Vista Hospital, 1409 E. Lake Mead Blvd., at about 4 a.m. after the victim had been left at the hospital with a stab wound, Metro said Sunday in a news release. The man, in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the hospital about 30 minutes after being dropped off, Lt. Robert Price of Metro said during a media briefing.

An investigation determined that the crime scene was in the LVMPD’s jurisdiction, near North Pecos Road and East Craig Road.

The identity of the victim and cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
