Trevor Noah had the 'best tour guide' while visiting Switzerland during a recent trip.

The comedian was in the country for his Back to Abnormal World Tour, held at the Geneva Arena on Tuesday, 17 May, and at Hallenstadion in Zurich on Wednesday, 18 May.

Noah shared a series of photos on Instagram, one of them with tennis player Roger Federer. Alongside the pictures, he wrote: "Switzerland, what a surreal experience this was for me. I've always dreamed of visiting my father's country but never dreamed I would do it like this. Thank you to every single person who came and filled out both arenas in Geneva and Zurich I'll never forget the experience."

He added: "Geneva, thank you for your fine taste in watch making and your gorgeous lake. Truly one of the most peaceful cities I've been to in the world. Zurich, thank you for the phenomenal fondue and your silent but deadly trains."

The 38-year-old also thanked "fellow half Swiss half South African", Federer calling him the ultimate host and the classiest man he ever met. Federer's mom Lynette Federer (née Durand), is from Kempton Park, Gauteng.
