State troopers arrested two people from Florida after finding 130 pounds of marijuana and a handgun during a traffic stop on Thursday, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.NSP said a trooper spotted a Ford Explorer that failed to signal a turn after exiting Interstate 80 at mile marker 360, near Waco, Nebraska.During the traffic stop, the trooper became suspicious and performed a search of the vehicle, according to Nebraska State Patrol. The search unveiled 130 pounds of marijuana in duffel bags in the cargo area of the vehicle. Troopers also discovered a handgun in the vehicle. The driver, 24-year-old Alexander Garcia, of Summerfield, Florida, and passenger, 29-year-old Ashley Gornto, 29, of Belleview, Florida, were arrested for possession of marijuana, possession with intent to deliver and possession of a firearm. They were booked into York County Jail.
