Apple Music customers can now subscribe to the Voice Plan for $4.99

The Apple Music Voice Plan

Apple has announced its new Voice Plan for Apple Music from $4.99 per month. The new subscription has been designed around Siri – the companies voice assistant. With this tier, customers will have access to Apple Music’s catalogue of 90 million songs, tens of thousands of playlists, and the award-winning Apple Music Radio.

Commenting on the new offering, vice president of Apple Music and Beats, Oliver Schusser, said:

“Apple Music and Siri are natural partners and already work seamlessly together. With Siri actively used on hundreds of millions of devices worldwide, we are thrilled to add this new plan that delivers an effortless music experience just by using your voice and makes Apple Music accessible to even more people around the world.”

The new Voice Plan will be available later this fall in 17 countries and regions including Australia, Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Taiwan, the UK and the U.S. Those who want to take out a subscription should just say “Hey Siri, start my Apple Music Voice trial” to Siri or just sign up through the Apple Music app.

At $4.99, this subscription doesn’t offer all of the features Apple Music provides. Apple says to access premium offerings such as Spatial Audio and Lossless Audio, Lyrics, Music Videos and more, subscribers should switch over to the individual plan which costs $9.99 per month of $14.99 for the family plan which allows you to connect six accounts.
