Over 100 countries could be cleared for quarantine-free summer holidays for double-jabbed Brits.
Treasury Secretary Jesse Norman has hinted: “We don’t want to get left behind by countries which may be adopting a two-jab approach if it can be done safely, carefully and securely.”
Paul Charles, CEO of travel consultants The PC Agency, says travellers returning to the UK from amber list countries should be able to swerve quarantine from “late July”.

Those returning from amber countries must also book and pay for day 2 and day 8 COVID-19 travel tests for when they return to the UK; only the day 2 test is required for those returning from green countries.
But the government wants to allow the fully-vaccinated to flash their NHS App at border controls to avoid the ten-day self-isolation.
Among the amber countries which could be given the green light for those Brits who have had both vaccination jabs include Portugal and France.
The Canary Islands and Greek holiday islands are also included.
