LA CROSSE/EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The Omni Center COVID-19 community vaccine clinic is now open to 12- to 15-year-olds.
The shot is available saturday at the site in Onalaska from 9 am to 1 pm.
Appointments are preferred but walks in will also be accepted while supply is available.

Parents of 12 to 15-year-olds can also schedule appointments at the UW- La Crosse community clinic.

Eau Claire County’s inoculation percentage is 42.3. Chippewa County fully vaccinates 37.7 percent of its population. 45.1 percent of La Crosse County community have their shots. 39.5 percent for Barron County and Dunn County’s vaccination percentage is 31.6.
The State Department of Health Services reports fewer than 500 cases today for the first time in three days.
The positivity rate is at three percent for the first time since the end of March.
DHS also logs 18 new deaths tied to the virus.
Eau Claire County’s case count goes up today by eight. Chippewa county adds four cases. La Crosse County reports 11 more positive test results. Barron County sees one more person test positive Dunn County’s total number of COVID-19 cases increases by two.
