A 16-year-old former Wyckoff resident died in an ATV crash that injured four other teens in Lewes, Delaware, on Tuesday.

Margaret "Maggie" Browne is the daughter of Monica Browne, who was principal of Ridgewood's Somerville Elementary School from 2002-08, and Upper Saddle River's superintendent of schools from 2008 until 2017. Her father, David Browne, was Randolph's school superintendent from 2011 until 2015.

Maggie and four other teens were ejected from a John Deere Gator ATV traveling at a high rate of speed when it failed to negotiate a turn, flipped onto its roof and struck a tree, Delaware state police said. Maggie was pronounced dead at the scene.
