Citizens of Croatia need to feel that they are equal when it comes to their rights, regardless of religious affiliation and national belonging. This is what President of Croatia Zoran Milanovic declared while taking oath, reports RIA Novosti.

Candidate of the Social-Democratic Party and ex-Prime Minister of Croatia Zoran Milanovic beat the candidate nominated by the Croatian Democratic Cooperation, incumbent head of state Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic in the second round of the January 5 presidential elections and took an oath on Tuesday in Zagreb.
