A Fearless Scots diver has been taking up-close-and-personal selfies with exotic sea creatures.

Grant Thomas, 27, from Glasgow, snapped the pics while running tours and photography workshops in Cuba, Papua New Guinea and Tonga.

The amazing images were taken over the last two years and include him taking selfies just inches away from turtles, crocodiles and even a zebra shark.

Grant said: “I started taking selfies because I had no one else to photograph at the time and I guess I was the next best thing.

“The most important thing for me when photographing underwater is not disturbing the animal or its environment as this can cause unnecessary stress.”
