Set in the fictional town of Brantford, New Hampshire, the film is about two kids finding and playing a magical board game. They release a man named Alan Parrish, played by Robin Williams, who was trapped in the board game for decades. The story is based on a children's book by New England author Chris Van Allsburg. The movie won the box office during opening weekend and made $262 million worldwide.Two sequels were released in 2017 and 2019, "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" and "Jumanji: Next Level."
