Cuba’s newly appointed ambassador Emilio Pévida Pupo—with diplomatic residence in the Kazakh capital city of Nursultan—on Friday presented his Letters of Credence to President Armen Sarkissian of Armenia.

The President congratulated the ambassador on the start of his diplomatic service in Armenia, wished him success, and expressed the hope that—with the ambassador’s participation—Armenian-Cuban relations will receive new content.

Subsequently, the Armenian President and the Cuban diplomat exchanged views on the opportunities for expanding cooperation in a variety of domains.
