Johnny Keyser's "From Where I Stand" draws "breathtaking" 1st review from Versed Magazine"

/EINPresswire.com/ Versed Magazine writer Melissa Jean joins Jennifer Lopez by dubbing Johnny Keyser as a "Future Star," while also applauding him for his "breathtaking lyrics" and his "voice to die for" en route to awarding Keyser with the "Versed Approved" stamp

Just one day after the digital release of "From Where I Stand," Johnny Keyser's first ever EP consisting of 6 original songs plus Sam Cooke's "A Change is Gonna Come" as a bonus track, Versed Magazine won the race to publish the first critical review of the enigmatic artist's first offering.

In the review, contributing editor Melissa Jean echoed the comments pouring into the album's itunes page by writing, "Bet American Idol are kicking themselves in the a** right now!" Jean went on to write, "It seems former American Idol contestant Johnny Keyser has done it yet again and broke out with his own work, dropping his first EP with seven tracks filled with breathtaking lyrics and a voice to die for." Jean even affirmed Jennifer Lopez's now-famous prediction by writing, "Remarkable is not even the word to describe the passion and goosebumps that happen when listening to this future star."

Jean was highly complimentary of the album, not just for Keyser's highly publicized vocal prowess, but also for his songwriting and composing skill... something American Idol never revealed to the public when Keyser was still on the show. "It's just seven tracks that complete this small album, but the lucky seven they are. With popular tracks such as "A Change Is Gonna Come" and the smooth piano droppings at the right moment or "Never To Late" and it's encouraging lyrics for all to stream inspiration from." In closing Jean awarded the album with the Versed seal of approval as a "Great Work," then went on to review John Mayer's soon to be released "Born and Raised," and closed her commentary with, "Sorry Johnny boy, this album has been denied a VERSED approved stamp."
