Tamil Government Appoints MPs from South Africa and India: TGTE

/EINPresswire.com/ April 13, 2012 - Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam (TGTE) announced the appointment of its nominated Members of Parliament (MPs) from South Africa and India to the TGTE Parliament.

Each MP's years of commitment to Tamil Eelam will strengthen TGTE in achieving Tamil Eelam through non-violent, democratic and diplomatic means.

The appointed MPs are as follows:

From South Africa

(1) Mr. Kris Govinder - Practicing attorney, South Africa since 1976. Co-Chairperson, Law Society, SA. Member, Judicial Service Commission. Member, Solidarity Group for Peace & Justice in Sri Lanka.

From India

(1) Professor Saraswathi Rajendran - An Academic from Tamil Nadu. Lecturer at UG and Post Graduate levels. An active trade unionist and human rights activist. Published many articles on Human rights and women's rights. Convener of the TGTE solidarity center, Tamil Nadu.

(2) Mr. Selvaraj Murugaiyan - Entrepreneur and expert in Information Technology. Produced documentary for Martyr Muthukumar. Coordinator of People's Movement against Death Penalty. Volunteer of TGTE solidarity center, Tamil Nadu.

(3) Mrs. Pandima Devy Subramaniyan - Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Chennai Law College. Practice in the high court, Chennai. Was active in student movements during college days. An academic and worked as a lecturer in social work department, Loyola College, Chennai. Active member in TGTE solidarity center, Tamil Nadu since its inception.

(4) Mr. Srithar Sundram - Civil Engineer. Founder of VizhithezhuIlaignar Movement Mumbai. A human rights activist.

(5) Miss. Sudha Ghandi Thiagarajan -Commerce and Law graduate. Cost accountant. An active member of Thamilthesiyaviduthalaiiyakkam.
