HAVANA, December 4 (ACN) The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, Army General Raul Castro Ruz welcomed on Tuesday the President of the Presidium of the People's Supreme Assembly of the People's Democratic Republic of Korea, Kim Yong Nam who is on an official visit to the Caribbean island.
Both sides expressed satisfaction for the advances of bilateral relations between Parties and Governments and reiterated the commitment in working to strengthening the ties. Both officials also discussed issues of the international agenda.
The North Korean leader transmitted a message of Comrade Kim Jon Un to the Army General.
The Vice President of the Central Committee of the Korean Communist Party Pak Tae Song and the Cuban ambassador Ma Chol Su accompanied the distinguished visitor.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla was also present in the meeting.
